Email Notifications: Turn on/off emails

We recommend the Welcome Email be activated before adding new users

If the Welcome Email is turned on, the user created in the system will get a Welcome Email with a  link to allow them to set their initial password. If the Welcome Email is turned off, the user created will not receive an email notification. With this in mind, it's recommended that before you load testing employee data into the system, turn the email off. When you're ready to add real employee data, turn it on.
  1. Go to Settings, then click Email Notification.

  1. Click toggle beside the email to turn it on/off.
  2. Click Save in the top right hand corner to finalize these changes.

 

Here are the different emails that can be sent from PiiQ:

Learning and Performance

  • Welcome Email - When a user is added to the product, an email can be sent with a link to set password.

Performance

  • Password Reset - If a user wants to reset his password, he can go to the login page and click forgot password. An email will be sent to the user to reset password.
  • When Goal Setting sub-cycle starts, any managers included in the cycle can be sent an email that notifies them about the process.
  • When Goal Setting sub-cycle starts, any employees included in the cycle can be sent an email that notifies them about the process.
  • When Goals are confirmed by the manager, an email can be sent to the employee.
  • When Self-Review starts, employees can be sent an email notifying them about the start of the process.
  • When Manager Review starts, managers can be sent an email notifying them about the start of the process.
  • When manager submits the review for an employee, an email can be sent to the employee.
  • When 360 Feedback starts, managers can be sent an email notifying them about the start of the process.
  • When 360 Feedback has been submitted by a respondent, an email can be sent to the manager.
